Julia “Sheila” (Cox) Crowley, 87 of Raynham, formerly of Abington and Cork City Ireland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 11, 2019.
Born in Ireland, she was the daughter of the late John and Rita Cox and the loving wife of forty-one years to the late Patrick E. Crowley. She was the devoted and loving mother of her three sons, Daniel Crowley and his wife Janet of East Bridgewater, Brian Crowley and his wife Tricia of Taunton and Patrick G. Crowley and his wife Teri of Whitman.
She was the adoring grandmother to Ashley Puccio and her husband Christopher of Bryn Mawr, PA, Emily Crowley of Manhattan, NY, Brianna and Sean Crowley of Taunton and Ryan, Michael and Thomas Crowley of Whitman.
She was the dear sister of Lillian and Marguerite Cox of Cork City, Ireland and Peter Cox and his wife June of Dublin, Ireland and sister-in-law of Eileen Crowley of Milton. She was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, both here in the States and back home in Ireland. She was predeceased by her brothers Edmund Cox and John Paul Cox both of Cork, Ireland.
The family would like to give special thanks to all the staff at the All American Assisted Living in Raynham for their loving care and support of Sheila these past two years.
Her services will be held Saturday September 14 at 8:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Bridget Church, Abington. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Rockland. Visiting hours are on Friday September 13 from 5:00-7:00 PM.
