Greta Revels Sinclair, 90, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Robert Thompson officiating. Mrs. Sinclair will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 14, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Edwin Revels Jr., Terry Revels, Michael Moore, Franklin Allen, John Brannen and Bobby Brannen will serve as pallbearers.
Born December 24, 1928 in Tifton, Mrs. Sinclair was the daughter of the late Julius Herbert Revels and Allie Mae Connell Revels. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Franklin “Frank” Sinclair, who passed away May 25, 2019; two sons, Dale Allen and Benny Allen; and one brother, Edwin Julius Revels, Sr. Before retiring, she was a hairdresser and she was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Kelltown.
Mrs. Sinclair is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Carol Moore of Casselberry, Florida and Mike and Wanda Moore of Tifton; her nephews, Edwin “Bubba” Revels, Jr. and his wife Tina, and Terry Revels; five grandchildren, Franklin Allen, Michael Moore, Tammy Walker, Michael Mullis, Timothy Allen and Michelle Centerfitt; and five great-grandchildren.
