Lynda E. Colangeli (Repucci) passed away at home in the company of her loving family on Sunday morning. She was 73. Born and raised in Medford she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Elaine (Mucci) Repucci. Lynda graduated from Medford High School. While she worked as the bookkeeper and helped manage her family business, E.A.Colangeli Construction Co., she also managed to raise four devoted children. Lynda loved to cook and bake. Her home was a feast for the holidays and a welcome place for family and friends to gather. Everyone looked forward to a place at her table. Her kindness and generous spirit extended to friends and neighbors. But her grandchildren held a special place in her heart.
The beloved wife of Enrico Colangeli, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage, she was a devoted mother to Deanna Capone and her husband Stephen of North Reading, Gina Donnelly and her husband Michael of North Reading, Enrico Colangeli, Jr. of Medford, and Major Michael Colangeli, US Army, of Fort Bragg. She was a loving grandmother to Giavanna, Catarina, Stephen, Amelia, Mikey and Patrick. Lynda was a dear sister to Anthony Repucci and his wife Mary, Richard Repucci and his wife Celia, Elaine Spencer and her husband Michael as well as being a beloved aunt of Elaina, Julia, Carmen, Domenic and Maria.
Lynda’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday, September 12, at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Wednesday 4 – 8 PM.
