Family, friends and gardening were Jean’s passion and delight. She enjoyed spending time at the Moose Family Center in Chicopee where she participated in social events with other members. Jean was an avid gardener who looked forward to the annual planting season for her vegetable garden and flowers. She also enjoyed traveling with her late husband James, particularly to St. Maarten where they owned a time share for many years. Jean enjoyed her visits to Mohegan Sun and MGM Springfield with friends and family. She also continued to periodically give hair cuts to longtime friends and family at her home long after she retired. Jean loved animals and had many pets throughout her life including her cat Tootsie. Jean was predeceased by her husband James and is survived by her children Steve Goyette of Coventry, CT and Michelle Goyette of Chicopee, sister Theresa Fedier of West Springfield, brother Gerald Coderre of Loris, SC as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
