John Vozzella, of Delray Beach, FL, formerly of Medford, passed away on Sunday, September 1st. He was 88. Born and raised in Medford, he was the son of the late Erminio and Sadie (DiStacio) Vozzella.
John was the best baker pouring his heart and soul into every one of his confectionary masterpieces. Baking made him happy. He enjoyed watching his family indulge in his homemade cakes, cookies, Italian pies and pizzagaina.
When John was not baking, he loved spending time with his family they were his pride and joy. He had a heart of gold and showered everyone with his love. He was an awesome brother, loving uncle and a great friend to all.
John was the dear brother of the late Edward Vozzella, and his surviving wife Gloria, Loraine Taranti and Paula Berry. He was the caring uncle of Gail, Michael, Lisa and the late Edward Jr., and the great-uncle of Clayton and Olivia. He was the loving companion of the late Gloria Leone and dear friend of Stanley.
A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 18th, at 10 AM, at the Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Rd, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours have been respectfully admitted
