Audrey L. "Audi" LeBlanc, a 15 year resident of Everett and formerly of Charlestown and Chelsea, passed away tragically due to injuries sustained from a fire at her home in Everett on Monday morning, September 2, 2019. She was 65 years of age.
Audi was born in Boston on August 13, 1954, a daughter of the late Harold LeBlanc and Louise (Morrison) LeBlanc. She grew up in Chelsea where she was educated in the Chelsea Public School system and graduated from Chelsea High School in 1972. Audi worked as a Administrative Assistant for the Department of Transportation for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She retired in 2018 following 40 years of dedicated service to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She enjoyed baking and was an avid bowler. Audi enjoyed family and friends and along with her partner, they enjoyed their neighbors and were always willing to help out someone else before themselves.
Audi is the beloved partner of 23 years to the late Dorene M. (Mooney) Durette. She is the devoted mother of Tammi Georgopoulos and her husband Jason. She is the loving Grandma to Madison, Colin, Aidan and Jackson. She is the beloved sister of Tina Perito, Joseph "Skippy" LeBlanc and the late Harold LeBlanc. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Audi's visiting hours on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 4 to 8 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Audi's Funeral Service and burial will be private.
