Clay Darwin Roach, 53, of Tifton passed away September 1, 2019, at his residence. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals for his brothers and their families and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals for his children and their families and friends with the Rev. Don Hamberry officiating. Mr. Roach will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Born September 25, 1965 in Valdosta, Mr. Roach was the son of the late Remer Jeff Roach and Betty Jo Weitman Roach. He received his Master’s degree from Valdosta State University. He was retired from the University of Georgia, where he had worked for over 20 years in technical support and teaching digital imaging.
Mr. Roach is survived by three daughters, Lucy Claire Roach, Catherine Jo Roach and Lilly Marie Roach, all of Tifton; his stepson, Christian Paucar; his ex-wife, Lesley Roach; as well as his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Cal and Sue Roach and Jeff and Valerie Roach, all of Chula and their children, Jared Roach, Sam Roach and the late Kelsi Roach; and many close friends.
