Dartmouth MA., Antone C. Mello passed away January 17, 2006 at Home Surround by his loving family. He was the husband of Doris (Sandiford) Mello. He was the father of Jerome C. Mello of North Dartmouth, Patricia wife of Lawrence Teixeira of New Bedford, Antone C. Mello Jr. husband of Lu-Ann of North Dartmouth. He was the brother of Deolinda Gonsalves of Westport, Julia Nemeth of North Dartmouth, and Aurora Leduc of Tucson Arizona and of the late Manuel Mello and Mary Nunes. Mr.Mello was the grandfather of Lisa, Shawn, Kelly, Keith and of the late Kevin Mello. He had several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Mello was the son of the late Jeronymo and Mary (Aurora) Mello. He was a Machinist at Lambeth Rope Factory, before his retirement. He loved woodworking, gardening and watching sports on T.V. A funeral service will take place Friday January 20, 2006, at 11:00 AM at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Thursday January 19, 2006 from 2-4 and at 7-9 P.M. Burial will take place at Padanaram Cemetery.
