William P. Todd, Jr., of Medford passed away at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on August 31 He was 69 years old. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late William P. and Helen M. (Getz) Todd.
William served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1973-1979. He was stationed in Thailand and on the Island of Guam where he worked as a mechanical technician on jet aircraft. William also stationed at Andrews Air Force Base where he was a mechanic on Air Force One and was also deployed as a mechanic with the Air Force’s elite demonstration squadron, the Thunderbirds.
William was the beloved husband of the late June Todd. He is survived by two sons: William P. Todd III and Scott J. Todd both of Derry, NH, his sister Brenda G. Briggs and her late husband Jack of Medford and his brother Bruce T. Todd and his wife Collen of Troy, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at the Mass. National Cemetery, Connery Ave, Bourne, on Monday, September 9th at 1PM.
