Fall River – Jean Marie (Mallen) Poisson, 68, of Briggs Road, Westport died Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Joseph Robert Poisson.
Born in Boston, the daughter of Florence (Clougherty) and the late John Mallen of Assonet, she lived in Milton, MA in her youth and in Westport for the past 44 years. A graduate of Milton High School Class of 1956, she worked for the First National Bank of Boston International Division, Boston, MA and David L. Babson Investment Counsel, Boston, MA. She was a past member of Milton Junior Women. A member of Our Lady of Grace Church, she was a Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack 100, also served as a C.C.D. teacher and was past president of the Womens Council. She was a member of Credit Professionals International, Fall River and Credit Professionals Past Presidents Club.
Including her husband and mother, she is survived by 6 godchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be from the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport, Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Friday 3 – 6 P.M.
Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
