Eddie DelValle, 42, of Woonsocket died Wednesday August 21, 2019 at Landmark Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Amanda Lynn Bradford. They were married on March 8, 2013.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico he was a son of Eddie DelValle and Maria DelCarmen Arroyo. Eddie graduated from high school and college in Puerto Rico and earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture.
Eddie worked in the factory in Pawtucket and at Broaster House Restaurant in Woonsocket. He was employed at Price-Rite in Woonsocket for the past 18 years.
Eddie came to Rhode Island in 1995 and lived in Pawtucket and Central Falls and resided in Woonsocket for the past 12 years.
Eddie was into playing Xbox, all sorts of collectibles especially transformers and jewelry. He was a very talented artist with a special gift for capturing the essence of a portrait subject. Eddie was a sports fan and rooted for the Boston Celtics.
Eddie will be remembered as a devoted and caring husband and father. His family meant everything to him and was the center of his world. Although those who love him are devastated by his passing, they know that Eddie has become their “Guardian Angel” watching over them from above.
In addition to his wife and parents Eddie is survived by a son Eddie Elias DelValle and a daughter Kiara Marie DelValle and his step-children Amadius, Angel and Audeliz Arocho. He was the brother of Edwin DelValle of Puerto Rico, Joel Arroyo of Woonsocket, Maria Pomales, Blanca DelValle and Wanda DelValle all of Puerto Rico, Omara Capeles and Ruth Arroyo both of Woonsocket. Eddie is also survived by the mother of his son and daughter Veronica Wilson of New Hampshire and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends both locally and throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
His funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield. Visiting hours are Friday morning from 9-11 am prior to the service.
