Charles “David” Brewer, 72, of Ty Ty passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Jack Perrin officiating. Mr. Brewer will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, August 30, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Chad Franks, Andy Thompson, Walt Jolley, Lamar Collier, Johnny Parkerson and Sam Bromlow will serve as pallbearers.
Born June 17, 1947 in Sikeston, Missouri, Mr. Brewer was the son of Floretta Maude Hill Brewer of Tifton and the late Hayward Zell Brewer. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Janie Rae Moore Brewer and his second wife, Tammie Brewer. He owned and operated Brewer Implement Company in Tifton.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Brewer is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Bethany and Curtis Richards and Geneice Brewer, all of Ty Ty; one step-daughter, Tabatha Collier of Ty Ty; one step-son, Gregory Alan Little of Atlanta; two brothers, John Brewer and Jim Brewer, both of Sikeston, Missouri; one sister, Peggy Davidson of Tifton; and four grandchildren, Brandon Richards, Jayce Richards, Bentley Hughes and Jessie Hughes.
