Marion E. MacCullough, 87, of Derry, NH died Monday January 16, 2006 in the Haven Healthcare Center, Derry. Mrs. MacCullough was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada on August 26, 1918 a daughter of the late Ernest and Marion V. (Burgess) Peake. She had resided in Derry for the past five years, formerly living in Nashua, NH and Red Bank, NJ. Mrs. MacCullough had been employed as a cashier for Eisenberg’s Deli in Nashua. She enjoyed knitting and donated much of her knitting to the Good Shepard Church in Nashua. She loved her grandchildren and great grandsons very much.
She is survived by her daughter, Victoria A. Schwartz and her husband Richard of Nashua, her son, Ralph Anderson of Nova Scotia, Canada, four grandchildren, Michelle Schwartz of Bedford, NH, Erik Schwartz of Lowell, MA, Robin Schwartz of Merrimack, NH and Richard Schwartz of Milford, NH, two great grandsons, Mason Schwartz of Merrimack, NH, and Jordan Dunne of Warner, NH. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas B. MacCullough who died 1984.
There were no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service was held on Friday January 20th at 10:30am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Bldg., 360 State Route 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
