New Bedford – Idylia B. Enos Johansen, age 87, of New Bedford passed away Thursday August 8th, 2019 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the beloved daughter of the late Augstino and Idylia (Brandao) Costa. She was the wife of the late John Enos Jr and the late Thomas Johansen. She was a loving companion to John Grinnell in her later years until his passing and a loving grandmother to Benjamin and Jacob Hill.
Idylia was born in New Bedford and worked as a Stitcher at Kay Windsor for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed Scrabble and jigsaw puzzles, and traveling with Tom.
She is survived by her sister, Alice B. deLacy.
In accordance with her wishes she was cremated and services are omitted.
