Emilio Briseno, of Maplewood, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2019 at the age of 28. He was survived by his loving mother Diane Briseno.
Emilio was caring and compassionate, known to some as a “Gentle Giant.” He had a passion for sports, especially hockey, football, and baseball. Emilio loved his family, particularly his grandparents, Donald and Gaynel Morrell. He and his mother were always close to them. Emilio spent most of this past year caring for his grandfather until his death last week. Emilio was honored to care for his grandpa and he felt like he lost his best friend.
Emilio will be remembered for his deep, hearty laugh and his genuine love for people. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Please join his family and celebrate his life at a visitation on Wednesday, August 21, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1725 Kennard Street in Maplewood. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial the next day, Thursday, August 22, at 11:00 am at the same location.
