Obituary

Northborough- Benjamin S. Kaminski, 90, of Northborough, died Monday, Jan. 16, in Beaumont of Westborough.
He leaves his wife of 57 years, Helen P. (Szadziewicz) Kaminski; two sons, Benjamin S. Kaminski of Virginia Beach, VA, and John J. Kaminski of Sutton; two daughters, Gretchen H. Kaminski of Seabrook, MD, and Lydia B. Keach of Worcester; a sister, Jennie Lesperance of Sandwich; seven grandchildren, Megan Kaminski of Portland, OR, Kaitlin Kaminski of Norfolk, VA, Patrick Keach of Raritan, NJ, Nicholas Keach, Marina Keach, Joseph Keach, and Amelia Keach, all of Worcester; nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony and Francis Kaminski. He was born in Boston, son of Stanley and Amelia (Bogdzia) Kaminski and grew up in Worcester, where he lived until moving here in 1950. He graduated from Commerce High School and Worcester Junior College.
Mr. Kaminski was an office manager and accountant at Holmes Transportation in Worcester for several years. He later was a co-owner of Habit Motors, Salem, NH, before retiring in 1982.
He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, Worcester. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Army. He greatly enjoyed his grandchildren and also enjoyed golfing.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Jan. 19, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A visiting hour will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, in the funeral home. The family requests that flowers kindly be omitted.
