WORCESTER, MA___Clifford L. Tuthill, 95, of Worcester, formerly of Honesdale died January 12 in St. Mary Health Center, Worcester.
He leaves his son, Paul C. and beloved daughter-in-law Mary Ellen Tuthill of Auburn, Ma and several nephews and nieces. His wife, Wilna (Mannick) Tuthill died before him. He was also predeceased by four brothers and two sisters, John Jr., Joe, Emmett, Wilson and Janet Groner and Alma Simons formerly of Honesdale. He was born in Clifford, Pennsylvania, son of John and Anna May (Runyan) Tuthill.
Mr. Tuthill was an auto parts salesman many years for companies in the Buffalo, New York area including RPS (Replacement Parts Services Co.) He retired many years ago. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Honesdale where he was an active lay member. He taught adult bible school for many years at Central United Methodist Church and also at Trinity United Methodist Church of Olean, NY.
Cremation will be in Rural Cemetery Crematory, Worcester. A graveside service will be held at a later date in South Canaan Cemetery, South Canaan, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central United Methodist Church of Honesdale, PA, Trinity United Methodist Church of Olean, NY or to Gateway of Williamsville, Williamsville, NY.
