CHICOPEE ~ Christine M. (Sulewski) Baker, 69, of Chicopee, was Called Home on Thursday, August 8, 2019. She passed into Eternal Life surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on May 18, 1950, a beloved daughter of the late Mitchell J. and Mary R. (Maynard) Sulewski. She was raised in Holyoke and lived in Holyoke before moving to Chicopee. A loving mother, sister and aunt, her greatest joy was spending time with her feline companion, Will and her family. She leaves her beloved son, Eric M. Baker; her loving brothers, sisters and their spouses, Laura Pinsonneault (Donnie), Vincent Sulewski (Karol), Joseph Sulewski, Sr. (Carline), Sally Cusson, Regina Guild (Gordon) and Walter Sulewski (Karen); and her many cherished nephews and nieces. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Marie Sulewski; her brother, Paul Sulewski; and her brother-in-law, Robert Cusson. Her family will receive friends on Saturday morning, August 17, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Burial will follow the Mass at Notre Dame Cemetery, 63 Lyman Street, South Hadley, MA 01075.
