Freetown – Ernest E. Breau, Sr., 72, of E. Freetown passed away August 5, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital, New Bedford. He was husband of the late Miriam E. (Pittsley) Breau.
Mr. Breau was born in New Bedford, son of the late Aldric and Lillian B. (Smith) Breau, and resided in E. Freetown most of his life. He was employed as an electrician by New England Plastics until his retirement. He had also worked for several years at Ocean Spray. He was a member of the East Freetown Congregational Christian Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of the Dirty Dozen, loved performing at Rick's Music World in Raynham and enjoyed playing pool.
Survivors include 2 sons: Robert B. Pittsley-Bock of E. Freetown and Ernest E. Breau, Jr. of Shippensburg, PA; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at the Assonet Burying Ground on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 10:00 A.M.
