Bruce W. Gomes, 72, of Raynham passed away on August 4, 2019.
Born in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Joseph Monteiro and Adeline Gomes Pires, and father of the late Albert W. Trinidad, known as Skonky.
He was employed at Morse Twist Drill for many years and was also a carpenter.
Bruce loved animals and especially enjoyed riding horses.
He is survived by his sisters, Kathy Esteves and husband Tony, and Laverne Gomes; his children, Aaron Gomes, Ethan Gomes, Mike Enos, Bruce Gomes Jr., and Erica Casteel; his significant other, Darlen B. Harmon; nine grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His visitation will be Friday, August 16th from 4-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 17th at 9 AM at the International Church of the Nazarene, 278 Pleasant St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Wareham.
