TEWKSBURY – Elizabeth J. “Betty” (Kilpatrick) Valente, age 75, of Lowell, formerly Tewksbury, died Tuesday morning, August 6, at High Pointe House in Haverhill, after a courageous month long battle with Cancer. She was the beloved wife for fifty-four years of Stephen A. Valente Jr., who died in April, 2018.
She was born in Cambridge, one of four children of the late Andrew and Edith (McCreedy) Kilpatrick, was raised in Tewksbury, and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School. She and Stephen raised their children in Tewksbury before moving to Lowell in 2008. She worked in the Quality Control and Inspection areas of Analog Devices in Wilmington until retirement.
Betty was well known in the greater Lowell Bingo circuit.
She leaves four children, Pamela Valente of NH and her fiancée Michael Farnham, Tina Pulley and her husband Lindon Jr., of Haverhill, Stephen Valente III and his wife Kathy of Lowell, Tony Valente and his wife Suzette also of Lowell; eight grandchildren, Johnny and Shawn Perry, Jessica, Courtney and Lindon Pulley III, Samantha, Ashley, and Joseph Valente; a sister, Edith Johnston of Dracut, a brother-in-law, Andrew Blier of Tewksbury, who was husband of her late sister Mary; many nieces and nephews, whom she valued and enjoyed as if they were her own children; and was predeceased by her brother John Kilpatrick.
