Angela Sims Collins, 64, of Jennings, Florida, died Monday, August 5, 2019, at Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 5 PM, Saturday, August 10, 2019, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla, with the Rev. Joseph Sims officiating. Interment will follow in Ocilla Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 3 PM on Saturday.
Mrs. Collins was born December 11, 1954, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late J. Edgar & Elizabeth Haman Sims. She was a homemaker and enjoyed decorating cakes. An avid nature lover, Mrs. Collins enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. She loved visiting the ocean and walking on the beach. She was very family oriented and loved spending time with her grandchildren and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children: Jared Collins of Jennings, Florida and Amanda Elizabeth Rose & Christopher of Clearwater, Florida; and two grandchildren, John Patrick Collins and Faith Elizabeth Rose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Collins and a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy & Judy Sims.
