Stanley J. Kumor, age 86, passed away at Mercy Medical Center on August 1, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born in Chicopee on Jan 29, 1933 to the late Stanley F. Kumor and Bridget “Delia” Bresnahan. Stanley served as a Gunners Mate in the Navy during the Korean War and later enlisted in the Marine Corps completing his sea service career as a First Sergeant. He worked as a machinist for many years at Mitchell Machine before retiring. He leaves two sons, Stanley Kumor and his wife Jackie of Sturbridge and Barry Kumor and his wife Tracy of Springfield; five grandchildren, Jessica, Jonathan, Alex, Timothy and Michael. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 3 pm at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
