OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME - Henrietta M. (Freitas) Linhares, age 78, of Old Orchard Beach, ME, formerly of Fall River, MA, passed away on Saturday July 20, 2019. She was the wife of the late Manuel J. Linhares Jr and the daughter of the late Henry Freitas and Lillian (West) Freitas. Henrietta was a member of the ILGWU she had a passion for baseball, was a dedicated Red Sox Fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends and creating long time memories.
She is survived by 3 children Deborah Linhares ( companion Richard Nelson) of Saco, ME
Joseph Linhares (wife Lori) of Wentworth, NH, and Manuel Linhares III (wife Debbie) of Westport, MA and stepson Kenneth Linhares of New Bedford, MA. Nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She also had two sisters and one brother, Sister Alice Esty of NH, sister Emily Freitas of Mississippi, William Freitas of New Bedford, MA.
Family & Friends are invited to attend Henrietta’s Celebration of Life at McGovern’s Restaurant, 310 Shove St., Fall River on Friday, August 9th at 11:00 A.M.
