Mrs. Adelina (Candelieri) Colandreo, 101, of Medford, passed away at her home on July 31, 2019. The daughter of the late Vito and Maria (Turturelli) Candelieri she was born in Milford, MA on February 7, 1918 and had been an area resident most of her life. Mrs. Colandreo worked as a seamstress for Ford Manufacturing Co. She was a member of St. Joseph Women’s Sodality in Somerville and loved to spend time with her family. The widow of George Colandreo, she was also pre-deceased by her three brothers; Frank Candelieri, Joseph Candelieri, and Anthony Candelieri, five sisters; Mary DiGrazia, Josephine Colandreo, Margaret Lovejoy, Angelina George, and Sally Anderka. Mrs. Colandreo is survived by three sons; Robert Colandreo and his wife Jean of Melrose, Paul Colandreo and his wife Patricia of Billerica, and John Colandreo of Medford, one daughter; Marion and her husband Robert Keough of Billerica. There are 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday August 5, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the Beals, Geake and Magliozzi Funeral Home 29 Governors Ave, Medford. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 am at St. Raphael Church, burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
