Mr. Ethan James Bryan, 22, entered into rest on Monday, July 22, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Bishop Esaias Merritt officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
Ethan was a veteran of the US Army, who had plans to enter law enforcement. He will be remembered as a loving brother and son.
He was raised by and is survived by his loving parents, Elizabeth Marie Bryan Sexton and Bobby Dwain Sexton, along with his biological father, Robert William Oathout. He is also survived by his siblings; Gabrielle Sexton, Amelia Sexton and Logan Joe Allen Sexton, his grandparents; Bobby and Dianna Sexton, his great grandparents; Albert and Elizabeth Burton and Elva “Nanny” Burton, his aunts; Michelle Sexton Luttrell, Misty Sexton Richmond, Jennifer Oathout, Kristie Oathout and Charlene Oathout McBride, and his uncles; Stephen Turner, Victor Fields, William “Billy” Oathout, Michael Oathout, and Brian Oathout. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Wilma Marie Bryan and Dr. James Lee Tolbert and an uncle; Joey Oathout.
