CHICOPEE – Taryn Marie Laplante, 22, of the Fairview section of Chicopee was tragically taken too soon Sunday, July 21, 2019. She passed into Eternal Life surrounded by her loved ones. She was a beautiful baby girl, who was born on Monday, March 24, 1997 at 12:44 p.m. in Holyoke Hospital. Taryn was raised in South Hadley, attended South Hadley High, and in 2015, graduated from Holyoke High. Taryn was furthering her education by attending Springfield Technical Community College in which she was studying Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Sign Language. On February 22, 2016, Taryn began working full time as a valet attendant for Valet Park of America. She truly enjoyed working there and everyone enjoyed training with her. Everyone loved her infectious smile and contagious laugh. She had an extremely loving heart, a very strong character, a sense of independence, and was always ready to help everyone in need. Taryn was a Michael Kors fanatic and enjoyed the finer things in life. She enjoyed casinos, concerts, and cars. She travelled quite a bit and her favorite spot was the Cape. She leaves her loving mother and step-father, Valerie Laplante and George Gendreau; her loving step-brother, Michael Gendreau; and her loving, uncles, aunts, cousins, numerous friends and extended members of her family. She was predeceased by her loving grandparents, Richard William Laplante and Mary Constance Laplante. Most of all, she leaves behind her four legged companion, Kissandra Noodle. A Celebration of Life will be private for her family and invited guests at the Summit View Banquet House, 555 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA 01040.
