Marvin “Lee” Lewis, Jr., 34, of Tifton passed Sunday, July 28, 2019, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at Carpenter Road Church of God with the Rev. Salone Green officiating. Mr. Lewis will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 30, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mr. Lewis will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Levi Douglas, Bobby Douglas, Justin Douglas, Mark Poe, Michael Lewis, Carl Poe and William Boyd will serve as pallbearers.
Born July 21, 1985 in Tifton, Mr. Lewis was the son of Marvin Lee Lewis, Sr. and Debra Pugh Lewis, both of Ty Ty. Lee graduated from Worth County High School and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. He loved his family and was a member of Carpenter Road Church of God.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Tonya Michelle Conner Lewis of Tifton; one son, Lee Bryant Lewis of Tifton; one step-daughter, Linda Conner of Tifton; one brother, Michael Lewis of Ty Ty; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Bessie Conner; two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Coleman and Kyle Brown; three sisters-in-law, Mamie Boyd and husband Ronnie, Tristian Foreman and Krustian Conner; his nieces and nephews, Michael Lewis, Anthony Lewis, Zion Wright, Kimberly Lewis, Paisley Lewis, Ronnie Boyd Jr. and his wife Ashley, Daniel Boyd, Thomas Boyd and Treyvonne Riggins; one great-niece, Danielle Boyd; his step-grandmother, Darlene Foreman; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
