Danny L. Shinholster, 73, of Sylvester, Georgia, died Friday, July 26, 2019, at his niece’s residence in Irwin County, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, July 28, 2019, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Charlie Solomon and the Rev. Mark Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday.
Mr. Shinholster was born May 8, 1946, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Wilbur A. “Bill” & Naomi Young Shinholser. He worked in the propane division of Fitzgerald Utilities as a supervisor. Mr. Shinholster sang with the Laymen and attended World Harvest Revival Center in Poulan.
He is survived by his wife JoAnn Shinholster; a grandson, Travis Shinholster; and a brother, Bill Shinholser and his wife, Eddyce Sullivan of The Villages, Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Lee Shinholster.
