Hilda (Cunha) Temple. Age 82. Wife of the late Owen S. Temple. Residence 140 Essex St., Fall River, MA. Died Thursday at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Fall River, MA. Daughter of the late John Cunha and the late Maria (Souza) Cunha. She was a Fall River resident for most of her life. Before retiring, she worked at the Home for the Aged on Highland Ave. in the dining room as a waitress, setting tables and delivering food. She was a member of St. Michael Church.
She is survived by One Son: Allan J. Temple of Fall River, MA. One Daughter: Edwina Selbo-Massie of Pensacola, FL. One Sister: Olive Paling of Clio, Michigan. Three Grandchildren and Five Great Grand-children. Two Great Great-Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. She was also sister of the late Irene Perry, Mary Frias, Alice Goddu, and Beatrice Souza.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St., Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church, Essex St. at 10:00 A.M. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.
