Mrs. Nancy L. (Bacon) Henderson, a lifelong resident of Medford, passed away at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading on Wednesday evening, July 24, 2019. She was 83 years old.
Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, on June 14, 1936, she was the beloved daughter of the late Philip and Virginia (Stebbins) Bacon. Nancy was retired from the Medford Savings Bank after serving for more than 40 years. She had been a Supervisor for more than 20 years at the bank. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed taking rides to see the foliage in New Hampshire and visiting the New Hampshire lakes. She was a steadfast Red Sox and Bruins fan and a member of the First Baptist Church in Medford. She will be dearly missed.
Nancy is survived by her loving daughters; Holly and her husband Dana Svendsen of Methuen and Sandra and her husband Lewis Best of Woburn; grandchildren; Jill, Alec, Samuel and Alirose. She also leaves her brother David Bacon and his wife of South Carolina and many dear nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be privately held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home of Medford.
