Hermina (Mello) Medeiros. Age 96. Wife of the late John J. Medeiros.Residence 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River formerly 146 Brayton Ave., Somerset. Died Saturday at the Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Lisbon, Portugal. Daughter of the late John Francis Mello and Blanche (Fernandes) Mello. She came to Fall River at the age of 3 months. She then resided in Somerset from 1960 to 1995 when she returned to Fall River. She was a retired Hairdresser having worked at the former Embassy Beauty Salon for over 30 years. She was a member of the Hairdresser Association. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
She is survived by 2 Sons: John J. Medeiros of San Antonio, TX and Paul K. Medeiros of Somerset. 1 Sister: Louise Governo of Fall River. 7 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren & several nieces and Nephews. Mother of the late Dolores Hanlon. Sister of the late Minerva Paiva and Grandmother of 2 late grandchildren.
Her PRIVATE funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. THURSDAY at 8:30 A.M. with a mass of Christian Burial in SS Margaret & Mary Chapel of the Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave at 9:30 A.M.
