Della M. Mahoney
Devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother
Della M. “Dolly” (Canavan) Mahoney, age 86, a resident of Tewksbury for over 50 years, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 20, 2019.
Born in Boston on June 28, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Delia (Ridge) Canavan.
She is the mother of Kathleen Broski, Michael Mahoney, Maureen Mahoney, Patrick Mahoney, Eileen Mahoney, Colleen Gallant, and the late Kevin Mahoney. Sister of Robert Canavan, Beverly Canavan, and the late John “Jack” Canavan, and Mary Gilligan. She leaves numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family members including Gale Moote.
Her calling hour will be Saturday, July 27, from 10-11 a.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, to be followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Services will conclude at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
