Obituary

Roger D. Leveille, 79, of Berlin, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his home. He was born in St. Francois de Yavier de Brompton, P.Q., Canada, on February 27, 1940, the son of the late Anesphore and Imelda Leveille. Roger moved to Berlin in 1960 and became a United States citizen shortly thereafter. He worked in the woods for 45 years, most recently as a woodsman for Kellog, and sold his own firewood. Roger was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and was Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He always had large gardens and enjoyed playing horseshoes and bowling.

Members of the family include his wife Carmen (Peters) Leveille of Berlin; sons Paul A. Leveille and wife Penny of Grafton, NH and Alan Leveille and wife Tonya of West Milan; daughter Carol H. Boissonneau and husband Roger of Hooksett, NH; daughter-in-law Rachel Leveille of Berlin; 6 grandchildren; brothers Lucien Leveille of Val Joli, PQ and Armand “Tibi” Leveille of Berlin; sisters Lilianne Leveille of Montreal, PQ, Laurence Champagne of Sherbrooke, PQ, Huguette Cote of St. Francois de Xavier de Brompton, PQ; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his son Carl Leveille, brothers Raymond and Roland, as well as sisters Dorina and Lorette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be private at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Friday from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.
