CHICOPEE – Taryn Marie Laplante, 22, of the Fairview section of Chicopee was tragically taken too soon on Sunday, July 21, 2019. She passed into Eternal Life surrounded by all the memories she loved and cherished. She was a beautiful baby who was born on Monday, March 24, 1997 at 12:44 p.m. at Holyoke Hospital. Taryn was raised in South Hadley, attended South Hadley High School and in 2015, graduated from Holyoke High School. Taryn was furthering her education by attending Springfield Technical Community College where she was studying Criminal Justice, Psychology and Sign Language. On February 22, 2016, Taryn began working full time as a valet attendant for Valet Park of America. She truly enjoyed working there and everyone loved her infectious smile. Taryn enjoyed music and concerts and had a great eye for the finer things in life. She enjoyed traveling and her favorite spot was Cape Cod. She had an extremely loving heart, a strong character and was always ready to help anyone in need. She was a Michael Kors fanatic. She leaves her loving mother and step-father, Valerie I. Laplante and her partner, George Gendreau; her loving father and step-mother, Keith A. Harris and his wife, Shelly Harris; and her loving brothers, sisters, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, numerous friends and extended members of her family. Most of all, she leaves behind, her four legged baby, Kissandra Noodle Laplante who was her constant companion.
