James W. Clorite, 60, of Foxboro, formerly of Medway passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 .
Born in Geneva, New York, January 11, 1959, the son of the late Robert and Evelyn(Marsh) Clorite, Jr.;
James or Jimmy to anyone who knew him, was one of 9 children.
He had worked for the U.S. Postal Service delivering mail throughout the Roxbury area for over twenty years, with many residents looking forward to his daily visit.
Jimmy claimed it was one of the best times of his life.
He could also be found at “Cumbies” convenient stores throughout the area, always with a contagious smile.
Jimmy was a dedicated volunteer for the Red Cross organization for over 5 years, always with his bright smile to greet the blood donors. He himself, donated blood and plasma, too many times to count.
He loved children and animals. Children were drawn to him as he engaged them in his antics. He was quick to make friends with animals and would often be found with a kitty in his lap or a puppy lapping his hand.
He had a big heart and wanted nothing more in life but to be happy and enjoy life. Jimmy will be sorely missed by his 8 brothers and sisters, and countless nieces and nephews. Rest in peace, Jim.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 26 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway from 10:00 - Noon.
