Kaitlyn Ann Hendley, 18, of Centre, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2019, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Kaitlyn will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Robert Thomas, David Sellars, Tucker Wilcox, Robert Edwards, Larry Warren Jr. and Greg McMillan will serve as pallbearers.
Born November 2, 2000, in Tifton, Kaitlyn was the daughter of James Felton Hendley and his wife, Candida of Arabi and Jerri “Lynette” Wiley Whitley of Centre, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald Spivey; and one brother, Stephen Baker. She loved to write and loved taking selfies.
In addition to her parents, Kaitlyn is survived by five sisters, Donna Hendley and Savanna Hendley, both of Centre, Alabama, Bella Hendley and Camelia Hendley, both of Arabi and Courtney Baker of Brantley County; three brothers, J. J. Hendley, Zane Hendley and Cody Baker, all of Arabi; and her grandparents, Clara and Larry Warren of Enigma, Phil Hendley of West Berrien, Jerry Barnard of Attalla, Alabama, Shirley Nagles Wiley of Tifton and Frances Spivey of Foley, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the family.
