Judy Stevens, 57, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Saturday, July 20, 2019, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Bro. William Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 Saturday at the funeral home.
Ms. Stevens was born October 21, 1961, in Folkston, Georgia, to the late Willie Lee & Verna Dorminey Stevens. She was a homemaker who loved to cook and drink coffee. She was famous for her cat-head biscuits. She lived in the community most of her life and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her companion of 22 years, Curtis Keagle of Fitzgerald; children and their spouses: Anthony Cox & Ona of Ocilla, Christina Campos of Tifton, John Wayne Burch of Fitzgerald, Eddie Chauncey of Kelltown, Marie Cordoba & Albert of Fitzgerald, Kristy Cordoba & Felix of Fitzgerald, Antonio Stevens & Amber of Valdosta, Jessica Folsom of Valdosta, Nick McDonald & Betty of Fitzgerald, and Willie Mitchell, Jr. & Whitney of Fitzgerald; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and siblings: William & Julie Stevens, R.L. & Lisa Stevens, Thelma Stevens, Lucille & Jeff Wyatt, Martha & William Cleveland, Mary & Willie D. Mitchell, Sr., and Louise Stevens. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
