Worcester: Quang Ngo, 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center University Campus surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife of 57 years Phung Thi Dang; sons and daughters Minh Ngo, Hoa Ngo, Dao Ngo, Wa Ngo, Henry Ngo, Crystal Ngo, Truc Ngo and Trini Thies ; grandchildren Huy Nguyen, Maihan Nguyen, Hannah Ngo, John Le, James Le, Jack Le, Raymond Ngo, Ryan Ngo, Aland Ngo, Leon Ngo, Kevin Le, Tommy Ngo, Amy Ngo, Katelan Ngo, Shayla Ngo, Ben Ngo; and siblings Nghi Ngo and Duc Ngo.
Quang was born in Saigon, Vietnam, son of the late Anh Ngo and Khoi Kim Phan. He graduated from High School and worked as a Secret Service Agent in Vietnam before coming to the United States in 1992. He enjoyed riding the bus and subways, and going for walks at Quinsigamond soccer field. He also had a passion for watching Vietnamese showcases and happenings in his home country.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester and on Sunday, July 21, 2019 from 3-6 p.m. in the funeral home. A funeral will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by procession and cremation to Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Davita Dialysis.
