LANTANA, FL / WEBSTER, MA – Jeanne H. (Lavallee) Kozlowski, 83, of 4270 Sixth Court, Lantana, formerly of West Warwick, RI, died Thursday, Jan. 12, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 63 years, Chester S. Kozlowski; 2 daughters, Judith Noel, wife of Richard Noel, Jr., of Hope Valley, RI, and Kathy Kozlowski of West Palm Beach, FL; a son, Kenneth W. Kozlowski of Providence, RI; a brother, Gerard Lavallee and his wife Florette of North Grosvenordale, CT; a sister, Alice M. Peters of Webster; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence “Larry” Lavallee.
She was born on January 11, 1923, in Webster, a daughter of Napoleon and Alice (Pariseau) Lavallee. After her marriage, she lived in Buffalo, NY, Wickford, RI, and twenty-five years in West Warwick, RI, moving to Florida in 1982.
Mrs. Kozlowski was an assembler at Leviton Manufacturing in Warwick, RI and at Federated Products in Providence, RI, retiring in 1982.
She was a member of the Community of St. Matthew in Lake Worth, FL. She and her husband were world travelers. She enjoyed needlepoint and shuffleboard.
A memorial Mass will be held in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St., Webster,on a date to be announced. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. The family suggests donations be made to St. Anne Elementary School, 12 Day St., PO Box 818, Webster, MA 01570-0818.
