Karlee Youngblood Roach, 25, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, July 19, 2019, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Thomas Colter officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Karlee was born July 31, 1993, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Tony Youngblood and the late Dinah L. Watson. She was a 2011 graduate of Fitzgerald High School where she was active in the FFA and enjoyed aggravating her brothers. She received her Medical Office Assistant degree at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College in Valdosta. She owned and operated K & J Disposable Rags and loved being a wife and mom. She tackled many DIY projects and loved riding her motorcycle while spending time with her husband and daughter.
Karlee is survived by her husband, James Roach of Fitzgerald; their daughter, Harper Joan Roach of Fitzgerald; father and step-mother, Tony & Samantha Youngblood of Fitzgerald; brothers: T.J. & Sierra Youngblood and Ryan Youngblood & Jincey Nasworthy; her grandmother, Louise Smith of Fitzgerald; her best friend who was like a sister, Dana Griffin & C.J. Gordy; mother-in-law, Harriett Roach of Baxley; sisters-in-law, Dana & Jonathan Reese and Haley Roach; grandmother-in-law, Margaret Hernandez of Hazlehurst; and many special friends including: Linda Smith, Chris Dowless, Mark Kamalakis, Dexter Munn, and Terry Munn. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dinah Louise Spires Watson; her step-father, Donald Watson; father-in-law, John Wesley Roach; and grandparents: R.W. & Audrey Moss Youngblood, Robert Smith, Pearl Evans, Rosalie Roach and Harry Harrington.
