Susan J. Raabe, 73, of Derry, NH, died Sunday, July 14, 2019, in Parkland Medical Center, Derry. She was born in the Bronx, NY on August 11, 1945, a daughter of Kenneth and Zabel (Marookian) Shahabian. Susan was a member of the Compassionate Friends, the Red Hats Society and enjoyed being part of several singing groups. She provided her care and time to the Derry Humane Society.
She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Russel Raabe of Derry; daughter, Suzanne Connors and husband Nate of Westford, MA; two grandchildren, Jack and Emily Connors, her brother, Kenneth Shahabian and wife Sherry of Farmingdale, NY; brother-in-law, Dave Raabe and wife Carol and a handful of nieces and nephews. Susan is predeceased by her son, Dave Raabe in 2013.
Calling hours were held on Friday July 19, 2019 from 9:00am to 11:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Road, East Derry.
