Juliette J. "Julie" (Marino) Quinn, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at her home in Charlestown. She was 73 years of age.
Julie was born in Revere on July 3, 1946, a daughter of the late Edward J. Marino and Rose M. (Iammarino) Marino. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated throughout the Boston Public School system. Julie volunteered her adult life to the former St. Catherine's Parish in Charlestown where she would cook and house keep for the priests of the parish. She was a CCD Teacher, Lecturer and Eucharistic Minister for the church that she cared for and gave so much of her time before it closed in 2005. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella # 1 and The Golden Age Center in Charlestown. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and scratching lottery tickets. Julie's family was very important to her and she cherished the many quality moments she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren.
Julie is the devoted mother of Francis Quinn, Gina Quinn, Benjie Marino and his wife Rachel and the late John Quinn. She is the loving Nana to Cameron, Julia and Eddie. She is the beloved companion of William "Bill" King. She is the beloved sister of Barbara Owens, Michael Marino, Eddie Marino, Cathy Purnell and the late Annette White, Louie Marino and Rita Beaupre. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Julie's Funeral on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 12 Noon. Her burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Her visiting hours will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
