Paul J. Kouroyen, of Richmond, VA, formerly of Malden, passed away on Sunday, July 7th. He was 83. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of the late Alexander and Arline (Leighton) Kouroyen.
Paul enlisted in the United States Army in the winter of 1954, from Boston, serving during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in the winter of 1957, from Ft. Dix., New Jersey. An avid Elvis fan, he enjoyed listening to all of his albums. He was a dedicated companion, father, grandfather, friend and neighbor. He will be greatly missed by all.
Companion of 30 years and recent fiancé of Rosalie Casella and her family. Devoted father of Paul Kouroyen, Jr., Danie Kouroyen, Steven Kouroyen and his wife Cheri, and David Kouroyen and his wife Angela. Loving grandfather of Paul III, David, Christopher, Lindsey, Steven Kouroyen, Jonatthan and Heath Mezmar, and great-grandfather of Mason and Stella Mezmar.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Friday, July 19th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
