Obituary

It is with great sadness that we let everyone know of the passing of Diane Marie Weddleton Fonteno. Diane devoted her life to taking care of her family, friends and even strangers. She has touched many lives, many of whom would say “she was like a mother to me.” The impact she left will forever be remembered and cherished. She changed the lives of anyone who ever knew her for the better.

Diane was born on January 22, 1959 and left us on July 10, 2019 at the young age of 60. She leaves behind many loved ones who bear great sorrow: her loving husband George Fonteno, devoted daughters Linda Nason and Kelly MacKinnon, son in laws Peter Nason and Chris MacKinnon, step son Daniel Fonteno. She will be sorely missed by her grandson Owen Nason and granddaughters Paige Nason and Claire Nason. Her grandchildren gave her so much joy.

Diane was one of nine children; she is the first girl after 5 boys and has three younger sisters. Her brothers Edward Weddleton, Steve Degnan, Kenny Weddleton, David Weddleton (deceased) and Brice Weddleton (deceased), and sisters Linda Phalen, Debbie Richards and Lisa Stack.

Diane was a woman of God and has rightfully earned her angel wings, she will now watch over all who loved her. Saying she will be missed is an understatement.
