Betty Jo Ritterskamp

Betty Jo (Davis) Ritterskamp, 91, passed away July 11, 2019 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville.
She was born on March 7, 1928 in Francisco, Indiana, the daughter of Audie Benton (Jarvis) Selph-Davis and Isaac Newton Davis. She graduated from Franciso High School in 1946 and was a member of the first class of the Anderson School of Practical Nursing. She resided in Anderson from 1952 to 2013 when she moved to Noblesville. She worked as an LPN at Community Hospital and was also a homemaker.
She was member of Anderson Church of the Brethren since 1959. She enjoyed church choir and knitting.
Betty is survived by her 3 children; Michael (Helen) Ritterskamp of Dixon, KY, Ann (Donnie) Hummel of Evansville, and Tamara L. Nightingale of Ft. Wayne; grandchildren; David (Megan) Ritterskamp, Jeanne (Brian) Hannon, Amy (Randy) Strange, Stephanie (Zach) Starkey, Lindsey Ann Hummel, D. Garrett Maller, Abby (William) Orellana; great grandchildren; Iris L. Hannon, Benton M. Ritterskamp, Eliza K. Starkey, and Stacie J. Fraunfelder.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester M. Ritterskamp, whom she married July 17, 1946; her parents, and 8 siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at Noon at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, with Rev. Dwight Hargett officiating. Entombment will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the donor's choice of charity in memory of Betty Ritterskamp.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Primrose Retirement Community in Anderson and to Prairie Lake in Noblesville for their care and compassion during the past several years.
