Marcelo Rivera Cataquet (50) of Brockton died July 8th in the city. He was the loving soul mate of Alice Aviles of Boston.
He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico son of Rosa E. Cataquet and step son of Carlos Marcano both of Brockton, also son of the late Marcelo Maisonet. Marcelo worked in the construction trade. He enjoyed music, cooking, telling jokes and socializing with family and friends.
In addition to his parents and soul mate he is survived by a 2 sons, Angelo Pisani Cataquet of Worcester and Jeremiah Cataquet, a daughter Janisha Rosado of Florida, a brother Carlos Cataquet of Woburn, 5 sisters, Janette Almeida of Brockton, Leesandra Cataquet of Florida, Jeannette Rivera, Jahria Cabrera and Yolanda Rivera Cabrero all of Puerto Rico.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Saturday July 13th from 5-8 pm. Cremation to follow.
