NORTH WATERBORO- Donald Stewart Johnson Jr., age 58, passed away unexpectedly in NH from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on July 8, 2019.
He was born in Saco on June 8, 1961, a son of the late Donald Johnson Sr. and Mary (Casey) Johnson and went to Massabesic High School.
Since 1986, Don has owned and operated Don Johnson’s Automotive on Rt. 5 in North Waterboro.
He was an avid drag racing fan as well as a driver of a rear engine dragster and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his former spouse- Nancy (Hamilton) Johnson of Alfred; son Donald Johnson III, siblings- Timothy Johnson of Sanford, Robert Copley of Waterboro, Charlie Casey of Buxton, and Tammy Plamondon of Sanford; and nieces and nephew- Crystal, Kelsea, Jessica and Robert.
A celebration of Don’s life will be held at a later date.
