Obituary

Reginald Adair passed away peacefully on Monday July 8, 2019 with his daughters Danielle and Angel at his bedside at the age of 71.

Born in Berlin, NH on July 12, 1947, he was the oldest child to Madeline and Leon Adair. In addition to his five siblings, Lester Adair and his partner Connie, William Adair and wife Karen, Colleen Adair Clark and husband Stuart, Maureen Adair D’Entremont and husband Albert, and Gerard Adair, he is survived by five of his six children, Michelle Mack of Manchester NH, Angel Miller and her husband Jim of North Attleboro MA, Danielle and wife Wendy Adair of Fairhaven MA, Matthew and his wife Sam of Dover NH, and Brian and his wife Jessica of Hudson NH. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Marcus, Xavier, Madalyn, Ethan M, Breanna, Ethan H, Jacob, Amelia, Alice, Cameron, Krystle, Eddie, and Justin and his great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Reggie Jr. who passed unexpectedly in October 2018.

Reggie graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 1965 and entered the Marine Corps Reserves serving his country for the next four years as a reservist. He had a passion for life, his family, his Harley Davidson and his dog Buddy. He ferociously enjoyed making wise cracks at anyone’s expense. His very sarcastic sense of humor always had people laughing. He enjoyed his career in sheet metal fabrication until his heart allowed him early retirement. He enjoyed time traveling in his motor home with his companion with whom he loved very much, Florence Lopes of Springfield, MA.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Road, Route 6, Mattapoisett. For online condolence book, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
