New Bedford – William Dennis Crowley, age 79, of New Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Roxanne (Hayes) Crowley. They had been married for 40 ½ wonderful years.
William was born in New Bedford, MA to the late William Thomas and Abbie Frances (Reed) Crowley. He had worked for LaCava and Sowersby Auto Parts delivering auto parts. William was a long-time member of the First Church of the Nazarene, where he could be found happily greeting members at the door as they came in.
He is survived by his loving wife, Roxanne, whom will miss him dearly; as well as, longtime family friend, Paula Grenier. He was also predeceased by his brother, James F. Crowley.
William’s visiting hours will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral will be Thursday morning, in the funeral home, beginning at 9:00 A.M. with a service to take place at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
